In memory of Byron Christopher Lee Robinson, stillborn on 2 May 2000

Even though he is not there

I will always remember that solitary tear

His face so calm, not showing any fear

Golden red hair, soft skin so fair

Almond eyes that will never see

A bud in god's garden, that is he

His nose a button, such a beautiful sight

A ray of sunshine, a golden light

Two rose petals that formed his lips

And for his ears, two grapeseed pips

But although I carried him as mothers do

He was not meant for me or you

An angel for god is what he was for

And I know he is only behind the closed door

Waiting for the day we will meet

Sitting with Jesus in his golden seat
